I know you frustrated to read long long articles for this issue  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!








Use Cases : During P2V migration created the physical system image to vhd Or copied the disk from other system to another one and trying to create a virtual machine. 




Solution :





Create a VM but make sure select Generation 2 for VM generation, or vice versa if not work.......









and see your VM got rebooted this time.............. generation 2 doesn't have any IDE controllers !!!! only SCSI
