Problem Definition:
When using Ralink RT3290 WiFi adapter unable to see 2.4 GHz SSID's on Windows 10 PC's
Manufacturer: Ralink Technology, Corp.
Description: Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter
Driver version: 5.0.46.0 (also reported with previous versions)
All other devices can see and connect to the SSID...........
Resolution or Workaround:
Install last driver, for example v5.0.46.0 for Windows 8.1/10, then in regedit search for "WirelessMode"
most probably you will find this under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0001
Reference image which is in my case
Now you need to change WirelessMode=X to WirelessMode=7 then restart Windows.
