If VPN is connected and unable to access remote servers/network

i.e.  Unable to take servers RDP

Solution:

Add manual route to your system with below command

Open Command Prompt Run As Administrator

route ADD destination-network MASK subnet-mask  gateway-ip

Once VPN is connected, check the IP address which is provided to your system.

How to check?

Open Run window by pressing Win+R key

Type ncpa.cpl and hit enter

Double Click on SonicWall VPN connection

Click on Details and you will get the information what IP is assign by VPN

Now you will find the gateway IP as i find (Gateway IP 172.18.80.1)

Source Add you have which you are trying to connect.

Let say i'm taking a server RDP post VPN connected 172.16.6.25.And gateway IP i have as found in above steps.

My command will be

route add 172.16.6.0 mask 255.255.255.0 172.18.80.1

You need to type network address as i mentioned 172.16.6.0

Now check, hope you are able to take RDP now............

Note: Once you are reconnected VPN, each time you need to follow these steps.
